North End
The North End is one of Boston’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Take a stroll down Hanover Street and choose from dozens of Boston’s best Italian restaurants, but don’t forget to finish with a delicious desert from Mike’s Pastry or Modern Pastry, two of the best bakeries in the city! The North End is also becoming home to many boutique clothing and jewelry stores which can be found as you wind your way up and down its narrow streets.
Traditionally a first stop for new immigrants arriving in Boston, the North End is now home to many young professionals and an energetic Italian community. Its location is within walking distance of the Financial District or Waterfront area and is very accessible to both the Red and Green Lines for those who commute.
As your make your way through this beautiful neighborhood, you can feel the history. From Paul Revere’s house to the Old North Church, you can walk the streets on which America was born.
