The W Residences

The W Residences Boston, at 110 Stuart Street in Boston's Theater District, are 123 luxury condominiums completed in 2009 on the upper floors of a 28-story glass tower above the W Boston hotel.

Developed by Sawyer Enterprises and designed by William Rawn Associates with TRO Jung|Brannen, the tower places the hotel on its lower floors and the condominiums above, with a separate residential entrance on Stuart Street. Interiors by Bentel & Bentel draw on the colors and textures of Boston Common and the Public Garden.

Residences range from studios to three-bedroom homes, with penthouses near the top of the tower. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of Boston Common, the Public Garden, the Charles River, and the city skyline. Kitchens feature Wolf appliances and gas cooking, and homes include in-unit washers and dryers and central air conditioning.

Living above a W hotel makes hotel services part of daily life. A doorman and a dedicated residential concierge staff the building, and residents can arrange room service, housekeeping, valet, and security through the hotel. A 142-car underground garage with valet serves the building, residents have access to the hotel's fitness center, and the W Lounge is just off the lobby.

The setting is the heart of Boston's theater scene. The Wang and Shubert theatres are around the corner on Tremont Street, and the Boylston and Tufts Medical Center stations are close by. Boston Common and the Public Garden are a short walk north, Chinatown is a few blocks east, and Back Bay begins a few blocks west. The Kensington is a short walk away in the same neighborhood.

The W Residences remain one of the few hotel-branded condominium addresses in the Theater District, pairing everyday hotel conveniences with a central downtown location.
