It's a very popular area for younger people to live in. Parts of Boston University, Northeastern University, the Berklee College of Music, and the Boston Conservatory of Music are located in Fenway–Kenmore, and many students reside in the neighborhood.
 
The baseball stadium Fenway Park, home to world-famous the Boston Red Sox, is located immediately south of the Turnpike from Kenmore Square. Fenway boasts plenty of eateries and bars surrounding the stadium, there's also small, independently-owned shops scattered throughout the neighborhood.
